Storms or excessively cloudy skies can cause the signal to be lost for a short period of time, but this is typically the extent of your service interruption due to the weather. In addition, some satellite TV services offer satellite radio stations, as well, such as XM and Sirius and will offer you more of these stations depending on what size channel package you choose.
