Dish Aggressively Bids For Clearwire Clear wire company, which was selling its 51% share to the Sprint company on December, 2012, is now again in the auction. It is because, dish network, the largest satellite TV provider in the United States has proposed an aggressive bid for the company to buy a majority stake in it. They have raised the bid to $3.30 per share or in total a sum of $5.15 billion. Clear wire company is certainly in the dilemma with such a great offer, but it has already agreed to sign the deals with Sprint Company. According to the agreed terms, the sprint company is going to own 51% share of the company. Dish Networks is also providing such a huge rate for 51% share of Clear wire Company. That means that if Clear wire company wants to deal with the rates of Dish Company, it has to sign off their deal with the Sprint company, but the Sprint administrators have no intension to do so. Still, Clear wire Corporation has said that they will set up a discussion with Dish about the unsolicited offer which they have made. According to the proposals of dish networks, the company is offering to buy 24% share of the spectrum assets of Clear wire Company. They have offered a $2.2 billion rate for buying this share of asset. In exchange of that deal, the Clear wire Company will be able to manage & build a wireless network for Dish Networks. Dish Networks has also offered an additional finance of $800 million to Clearwire Company so that the company can get access to some financial assistance on its current struggling point. On the other hand, Sprint Company is the third largest cellular company in US, which is now depending on Clear wire Company so that they can provide 4G data service network for the users. This will upgrade them up to a cellular company which provides the highest speed in data service at US. At first, Sprint Company, offered to buy 49% of the company at the rate of $2.90 per share, later with negotiation, they raised the rate up to $2.97 per share. Still, the shareholders of Clear wire Company are opposing to the agreement & claiming that the shares of the company can get much better price that what Sprint has offered. Dish Networks has already confirmed that they have really made this aggressive offer buy the shares of Clear wire Company. They also said that they are looking forward to having a great discussion with Clear wire company's shareholders & also they are optimistic to have their deal set with the company. To compare the two proposals of these two companies to Clear wire networks, The Overland Park, Kan., company commented that- "Sprint's offer is superior because the Dish bid includes a variety of connected commercial agreements and debt and equity purchases, in addition to the spectrum sale. It would have to, voluntarily waive its rights, as a Clear wire shareholder and said it has contracts with Clearwire that predate its purchase of part of the company."
