Those factors, mixed with the ability to grow your followers, makes it a perfect platform for business. There are also many other things you can do using Twitter. You can send direct messages to individual users instead of broadcasting to everyone. There are mobile options where you can send and receive tweets via SMS and email from your cell phone. There are also search options that allow you to find Twitter users who are posting about a certain subject.
